Mission Statement for Outreach Programs
The mission of the Outreach Committee of Monticello Presbyterian Church is to share intentionally the Good News of God’s love and blessings within our congregation, community, and the world. Led by God’s Spirit, we actively search for opportunities and provide the leadership for our congregation to be the hands, feet, and voice of Christ.
Matthew 28: 19-20a
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you.
Outreach Opportunities
The Monticello Presbyterian Church ministers within the rural community of Monticello and the surrounding area. Our congregation serves our community by providing opportunities to our members and friends to know and care for one another. We encourage all to be active in the fellowship of our faith community.
We join with other churches in the community for worship and service, including Community Worship, Care Corps ministries, the Thanksgiving service, the Christmas cantata, Easter sunrise service, and Friday morning youth prayer breakfast.
