SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY

VISION

The Vision of the Monticello Presbyterian Church Spiritual Development Ministry is for our children, youth, and adults to live Christian lives by knowing who they are and whose they are. This ministry will enable everyone to follow the Gospel call to make a difference in the world by being faithful to the past and open to the present and future.

MISSION

In order to realize this vision, the Mission of the Monticello Presbyterian Church Spiritual Development Committee is to provide opportunities to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ by focusing on the following purposes:

  • To learn the Christian story, both past and present.
  • To know who we are and what we believe through interactions with each other.
  • To mature in one’s individual faith journey.
  • To develop a critical consciousness that leads to faithful service in the world and a changed lifestyle.
