The Monticello Presbyterian Church ministers within the rural community of Monticello and the surrounding area. Our congregation serves our community by providing opportunities to our members and friends to know and care for one another. We encourage all to be active in the fellowship of our faith community.

We join with other churches in the community for worship and service, including Community Worship, Care Corps ministries, the Thanksgiving service, the Christmas cantata, Easter sunrise service, and Friday morning youth prayer breakfast.

We are also involved in carrying out Christ’s mission worldwide. With other Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations, we help support more than 590 mission co-workers in more that 80 countries around the world. We take part in eight special offerings during the year that go toward these missions. Our church has participated since 1989 in a Mexico work mission, Builders for Christ, in which workers travel to Mexico to help build houses. In addition we have participated in NEGA Presbytery's Mexico Medical Mission and the Partnership Mission in Mexico.  We also contribute to Change 4 Children to help children in crisis in Zambia, Africa. More information on Change 4 Children and the Alliance for Children Everywhere can be found at www.childreneverywhere.org/change4children.  We partner with Rivers of the World and ROW KIDS to meet needs of people and children in 13 countries.  Information on these charities can be found at www.row.org and www.rowkids.org. Additionally, we have supported Alan and Ézia Mullins, missionaries to Brazil, since 1978.
